Womanizer - Britney Spears

I haven't blogged in a while so it's great to return with something huge. Something that will be an epic and remembered dance-pop hit. It is Britney Spears and her first single from "Circus". It is..'Womanizer'. This song is hot. Not hot enough in my opinion but I know Brit fans are gonna EAT this up. This should be a top ten hit, doing the same as 'Gimme More'. Loving the chorus! Def. check it out.

Shontelle, the newest Bajan Pop Phenom is officially a hit maker with 'T-Shirt' in the Top 30 of both iTunes & Top 40 radio. This music video will not only boost the song's downloads but will make people know who Shontelle is. I really really like the whole feel and realness of the song. It's great and Shontelle has an awesome smile. Def. check it out!

Music Video: Forgive Me | Leona Lewis

'Forgive Me' is the 3rd single from UK sensation Leona Lewis and it's produced Akon. The video is really nice. Cute, loveable and all that stuff, lol. I really think Leona has the potential to be bigger than big. She's big right now but her impact is minimal. It's time for her to bring out the big guns.

Beautiful Dirty Rich

Here is the official single cover for Lady GaGa's second single 'Beautiful Dirty Rich'. I love this woman's sense of style. Hope to see her on Fashion Rocks next time. The single is out to buy TODAY. Go on get, Lol.

Behind The Scenes: Whatcha Think About That | Pussycat Dolls

The Pussycat Dolls, set to release their new album 'Doll Domination' on September 23, have already filmed a video for the second single, 'Whatcha Think About That' featuring Missy Elliot. Doll Ashley Roberts blogged, "It's very editorial in my mind. Lots of beauty, lighting, and mysterious set-ups." Of Missy Elliot's contribution, she said, "Ms. Missy Elliott killed it, ya'll ... like she always does."

Kanye West & His Ridiculous Love Lockdown

Initially after downloading Love Lockdown, Kanye West's new single - a few nights ago - I thought to myself.."what a horrible song". I still feel that way. What the hell is he doing? Maybe I will end up liking this song in the future. But for now, the only appealing thing about this song is when it stops. Kanye West's new album "808's & Heartbreak" is due out on December 16th this year.

Music Video: Tattoo (European Version) | Jordin Sparks

You may or may not know this but Jordin Sparks' debut single is being re-released in Europe and so it's being accompanied by a brand new video. It's excellent I must say. Well, not excelent, but WAY better than the original. I very much like it. Check it out!

Jessica Simpson On The View

Is it just me or are her boobs bigger than usual? Then again I wouldn't know but still. Here's a performance of 'Remember That' which I assume is the 2nd single from doomed-country-album "Do You Know". Jess is kinda like Mandy Moore. A pop princess who decided to get mature and sway away from the demands of the industry. Oh well..

September & Lady GaGa Live At Dome 47

I give credit to all pop singers who don't lip sync. September & Lady Gaga gave good performances and sang theair hearts out it seems. 'Cry For You' is doing well on Top 40 but I don't know how much longer it will remain there. 'Just Dance' is being re-released in the States so we've gotta see how that holds up.

Behind The Scenes: If I Were A Boy | Beyonce

The New York Post caught Queen Bee shooting the music video for 'If I Were A Boy'. It's very short and gives away very little. But looks like we can expect a concept for the video that actually suits the title maybe. Beyonce's single 'If I Were A Boy/Single Ladies' is expected to drop around October 7th.

Music Video: What Them Girls Like | Ludacris

This one is exciting! Ludacris has always been a comedic master with his music videos so this one doesn't disappoint. It's funny funny and yet maintains the sexy vibe. Cool, real cool. Def. check it out.

Rihanna Intends To Be Breakin' Dishes

In case you haven't heard, Rihanna's eighth single from the 5 million + copies sold album "Good Girl Gone Bad" will be 'Breakin' Dishes'. If that's not exciting then I don't know what is! If all goes well, a music video should be in the works by October and everyone'll be requesting it & playing the song on their iPod.

Breakin' Dishes has already charted and peaked on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart at 4. Hopefully, the release will send it up to number 1.

Music Video: Crush | David Archuleta

Wow. I'm impressed with David Archuleta. The video is good, I thought it would be sloppy and boring. It's kinda like an upgraded 'Tattoo' (Jordin Sparks). This one actually has a good theme and it's cute at the end.

Music Video: Angel | Natasha Bedingfield

With two consecutive hit singles, Natasha Bedingfield is trying to continue her streak and hopefully improve her dreadful album sales. The video is nice but the concept doesn't fit well with the song. Good luck to NB though!

Music Video: Addiction | Ryan Leslie

Isn't it kinda late to be bringing out a video for this song? It's already been on radio and it hasn't been serviced very well there. It doesn't help much that Cassie doesn't make an appearance in the video but I'm sure that Ryan has something up his sleeve. He's a brilliant man, I'm sure 'Addiction' isn't the only thing he's got for us.

Pussycat Dolls On Soundcheck

Here's a preview of what you're gonna get. Just check out the Soundcheck site for the rest.

The Dolls were okay. They performed two new tracks, 'I Hate This Part Right Here' & 'Take Over The World' which were just good, nothing special. I'm getting tired of Nicole hogging, anyone second that? Remember Soundcheck provides the best music & live performance exclusives!

Music Video: Right Here (Departed) | Brandy

With a new album coming out Brandy is bringing out all her weapons for a successful charting. The new music video is brilliant. It's passionate and while it doesn't contain the rhythm and the movement that some may have wanted, the seriousness of the video makes up for that. I love it. Go B!
P.S. - Brandy is absolutely stunning!

Slipknot Barely Outsells The Game

Slipknot's "All Hope Is Gone" barely wins out over the Game's "LAX" in the race for No. 1 on The Billboard 200 this week. The Roadrunner set moved 239,516 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan, only 1,134 more than the rapper's Geffen album at 238,382.

Kid Rock's "Rock N Roll Jesus" (Atlantic) takes an 11% sales hit to 89,000, falling 2-3. After two weeks at No. 1, the Jonas' Brothers' Hollywood set "A Little Bit Longer" slides to No. 4 with 80,000 (-45%).

At No. 9 with 46,000, Solange sets some personal bests with sophomore album "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams." Her first album, 2003's "Solo Star," peaked in its debut week at No. 49 with 19,000. The new Music World/Geffen album is led by the single "I Decided," which recently hit No. 1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart.

Go Girl, Go Ciara

It's hurr! It's pretty funny seeing as I just mentioned it in the last post like a couple of minutes ago. Anyways, here's the song which while not as disappointing as 'High Price' is a bit unlike the usual Ciara first single power.

So 'Go Girl' featuring T-Pain is gonna be the next single. Let's all keep our fingers crossed that it won't be as painful & horrendous as 'High Price'. Cheers.

Music Lesson #4

I've really been feeling Mariah Carey latey. I only recently realized that she is the Queen of all music. Some would say Madonna but blah, I beg to differ. One of my favourite MC tracks is her debut single, the incredibly incredible 'Vision Of Love'.

The song was an instant hit for Carey in 1990, peaking at number one in multiple countries for multiple weeks fuelling THE biggest career in music ever.

Song Of The Summer

It's over guys! No more free time. No more wild partying - well at least for some hehe. It's time to go back to school or work or to just go into the next season. The only constant, good music! However, there were definitely some great jams this summer. It's up to you to decide what was the Song Of The Summer.

Whatcha Think About That, Eh Pussycats?

sWith 'When I Grow Up' already decreasing in Top 40 Airplay, the Pussycat Dolls are depending on second single 'Whatcha Think About That' to fuel opening sales of "Doll Domination". The track features a Missy Elliott cameo and while it's nice it's nothing in comparison to efforts by Danity Kane with the famed female rapper (Bad Girl).
