According to reports,20 year old Canadian R&B Singer,Keisha Chante has been cast to play Aaliyah in her biopic.The movie will begin production in August 2008 and should hit theaters sometime in 2009.Below are few promotional pictures of Keishia Chante.

This is really very interesting! Keisha does actually look quite like Aaliyah. If this rumour is true then I'm definitely gonna be watching it. Hopefully it'll be as good as or better than Selena.
